The most recent event hosted by Springfield was in 1997, in which the staff of the Convention & Visitors Bureau assisted in the planning of the convention from the beginning stages throughout the entire process. Hospitality in Springfield is like no other with the support of the hotel community along with the bureau. The city’s community also showed their welcome and support when attending our parade. In September of 2005, the Great Lakes Shrine Association will bring their convention back to Springfield ensuring yet another successful event with many more to come!

The city of Springfield is very proud of what they have to offer and I can only offer my highest recommendation for you to come experience it yourself.
